Following the reorganisation of research structures across the University of Salford, the Institute for Materials Research (IMR) web pages have been updated to reflect the wider strand of Engineering & Physical Sciences research.
A new, integrated structure has changed the way that research is organised throughout the University. Research within Engineering & Physical Sciences is focused into two research centres:
and each Centre now has a new website.
Centre members are scientists and engineers who are active in the development, characterisation and exploitation of new structural and functional materials. All staff are involved in undergraduate teaching in physics and engineering, and also in a range of postgraduate programs, details of which can be found here.
